 - I need a name for my magazine

I like these magazines because they reflect the front cover star and their style whilst following the typical conventions of the magazine. My favourite magazine is ‘The Face’ magazine because the lighting is really good and I also like the framing of the magazine with Eminem in the middle.  

My chosen brief - magazine

     I have chosen the music magazine for my Nea. I have chosen this brief because I love music and I love reading magazines. Furthermore, I enjoy creating my own versions of media products. I have created many magazine/poster products before using Canva and photoshop so I think I have a lot of skill to do this brief whereas I have made one music video using iMovie which I was less confident using.

Past Work - Music Video for Radiohead’s Burn The Witch

Here, I created my own music video for Radiohead’s song Burn The Witch in order to practice using iMovie in case i wanted to pick the music video brief Nea. However as much as I enjoyed making and editing the music video, I think I will prefer making a music magazine as i am more interested in that brief. 

 

Past work - Product advertising.

Here, I created an aesthetic poster advertising a Versace Perfume. Overall, I am pleased with the outcome of the advert- I particularly like the photography of the advert which is a useful skill to practice. However, I would change the writing of the description to a different font to suit the Versace house style. 

 

Past work - Brand Ambassador Pitch

 This was a brand ambassador poster for a pitch I had to present. I was really pleased with this because the colour scheme fits with Jacob Elordis style and the house style of Ray Banz. Furthermore, the choice of Jacob Elordi as a brand ambassador for Ray Banz is a good match - this will help with the practice of picking appropriate models for the magazine bride. 

Past work - The Big Issue

 

          

I have learnt how to follow conventions of a magazine and how to create my own version of the Big Issue by incorporating their values and ideologies into it. I am pleased with the codes and conventions of my magazine. However, I would change the writing on the magazine to make it more clear and easier to stand out.
